SAVANNAH, GA (March 31, 2016): The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department arrested a 15-year-old boy for armed robbery at approximately 3:15 p.m., March 30, near the Truman Parkway Overpass at Bee Road and East Anderson Street.
The suspect, armed with a handgun, robbed a 17-year-old male who was on his way home from school. An officer in an unmarked patrol car witnessed the armed robbery. The suspect was apprehended in the 1100 block of East 32nd Street after a brief pursuit. The teen was transported to the Regional Youth Detention Center without further incident.
