SAVANNAH, GA. (March 25, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police charged a 15-year-old male in a March 16 armed robbery and shooting on the 700 block of Waters Avenue, that injured two people, including the suspect.
Thursday, the teen was charged with aggravated assault, criminal attempted armed robbery and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime. He was arrested, charged and transported to the Regional Youth Detention Center after receiving treatment of injuries sustained during the crime at an area hospital.
Jaquan Clark, 18, also received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound during this incident.
Reportedly, Clark and several males were guests at the apartment where the shooting occurred. The 15-year-old and at least two other males also were present in the apartment. Reportedly, the 15-year-old and one additional male subject briefly exited the apartment, returned with a gun and attempted to rob the others. Investigators believe gunfire was exchanged between the teen and at least one other subject.
Investigators continue to follow leads to confirm the identities of other parties involved with this case.
