UPDATE: NOTE: Tips from the public through Crime Stoppers has led to the arrest of Kena Young of the 700 block of East 37th Street at her place of employment about 12:30 p.m. She has been charged with arson first degree, terroristic threats, giving false statements, and shoplifting.
SAVANNAH, GA (September 10, 2013): West Chatham Precinct detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a woman who started a fire in a Wal-Mart Store Aug. 20 to allow her to leave with a basketful of stolen items.

The incident took place at the Wal-Mart at 6000 Ogeechee Road around noon.

The black female appearing to be in her 30s is about 5-3, 150 pounds and wears glasses and her hair short. At the time she was wearing gray sweat pants, a white T-shirt with a picture of a white male on it and was driving an older model Suzuki Vitara, believed to be black over gray.

Anyone with information on the identity of the woman or her location is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637). Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
