SAVANNAH, GA (March 17, 2018) – Law enforcement officials made two arrests in the first day of the St. Patrick’s Day festival.
The arrests included one person who was arrested for violating the dog regulation and one for both public intoxication and obstruction. The two-day festival officially kicked off at 10 a.m. March 16.
“We are pleased to see such a minimal number of arrests in the first day of the festival,” said Maj. DeVonn Adams. “We have a heavy presence in the festival area and are receiving assistance from multiple law enforcement partners. Officers are out being very vigilant.”
