SAVANNAH, GA (April 6, 2016): The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Robbery Unit is investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m., April 5, near Tibet Avenue and Jameson Road.
The victim, a 22-year-old male, was walking toward his residence from a nearby business with his young son who was in a stroller.
Two suspects reportedly pulled up in a vehicle, held him at gunpoint and demanded money before firing a shot at the victim. After the suspect fired the shot, the victim grabbed his son and fled the scene on foot.
Detectives describe the suspects as two black males, one with a light skin complexion, wearing dark clothing and ski masks. The two suspects fled the scene in a blue, four-door sedan. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
