SCMPD have three in custody after they burglarized a home on Savannah’s West side
SAVANNAH, GA (October 27, 2010): The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police have three in custody after they burglarized a home on Savannah’s West side.
Tuesday around 1:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of west 42nd Street. They were told by witnesses that three people had ran out of the back door of the house, two males and one female, carrying a laptop and a television. The female was observed going into the front door of a residence a few doors down. Detective Samuells and APO Jackson of Precinct Three, made contact with the girl. They were given consent to search the residence by the homeowner and located the stolen property as well as the two other suspects. All three were questioned, and gave confessions.
Arrested: Williams, Shawnjay, 17, black female, 16, and black male, 16. the adult suspect, SHAWNJAY, was transported to Chatham County Detention Center. The juveniles were transported to Regional Youth Detention Center.
