SAVANNAH, GA (April 15, 2015) Downtown Precinct officers with the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are trying to identify two males who snatched purses from pedestrians and ran Tuesday night.
Two women, including one from Colombia, South America, reported they were walking near East Park Avenue and Abercorn Street about 10:30 p.m. when two males ran from behind them, snatched purses that had straps across their bodies, and left.
The two males then entered a sedan, possibly a light blue, late model Volkswagen with dark windows, and drove away.
The first suspect was wearing all black. The other was had a white T-shirt covering his face. Both were black males.
