SAVANNAH, GA (December 7, 2018) – Savannah Police’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a pedestrian-involved crash that resulted in the fatality of a 32-year-old woman yesterday evening.
At around 6:15 p.m., Cynthia Garnto, 59, driving a Toyota Sienna, was traveling south on Middleground Road near the intersection of Mohawk Street. At the same time, Ryan Dennis, 32, walking west across Middleground Road, stepped into Garnto’s path and was struck. Dennis sustained life threatening injuries, and she succumbed to those injuries.
The Traffic Investigation Unit continues to investigate this crash.
