SAVANNAH, GA (February 26, 2015): Southside precinct detectives of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department seek to identify and locate a auto thief who posed as a customer at a used car dealership on Savannah’s south side.
Feb. 17, Moss Curtain Motors, located on the 100 block of Eisenhower Drive, reported the theft of a 2009 Pontiac G8. The theft occurred after the suspect requested the vehicle’s keys for closer examination. Unaccompanied by dealership staff, the suspect proceeded to the car lot. Moments later, the suspect, keys and car were gone.
The suspect is a black male, with a dark complexion, standing about 6 feet tall and 165 pounds. He has a low tapered afro and thin beard.
