SAVANNAH, GA (April 3, 2015): Kendrick Deal, 22, of Savannah was arrested Thursday night by Georgia Parole for an warrant issued by Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police.
Deal was arrested at a Wesley Street residence. He is charged with auto theft and parole violation.
Southside Precinct investigators used surveillance camera images to identify Deal as the suspect who on Feb. 17, posed as a customer at Moss Curtain Motors, on the 100 block of Eisenhower Drive, in order to seal a 2009 Pontiac G8 from the used car dealership.
The theft occurred after Deal requested the vehicle’s keys for closer examination. Unaccompanied by dealership staff, he proceeded to the car lot. Moments later, the suspect, keys and car were missing.
The stolen car was recovered on March 5.
