SAVANNAH, GA (April 21, 2015): Downtown Precinct investigators of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department seek to identify a larceny suspect and teenage accomplice responsible for a bicycle theft outside of a SCAD building.
In mid-March, the bicycle was secured by its owner, outside of Hayman Hall on East Charlton Street. Surveillance footage recorded on the afternoon of April 4, showed a male suspect removing the bike’s handle bars to release it from the security chain. During the theft, a teenage look-out stood watch, alerting the suspect as people approached.
The suspect is described as an Asian male in his mid-30s with a bald head. The teenage accomplice is an Asian male with shoulder length hair. Both were last seen walking west on Charlton Street with the bike in their possession.
The suspect could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
