WHY: QUEST Career Exploring event for 10th Graders
Agenda: 8:00-9:00am- Auditorium- Panel Discussion in Auditorium- Police Officers introduce themselves and their various career positions
9:00-10:00am- Outside in the back circle drive- Students break into small groups and rotate around to various units to discuss the roles of each unit and ask questions
On Friday the School of Criminal Justice will continue their partnership with the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police when they once again partner up for the Quest Career Exploring event. This event consists of career stories and a question and answer session with officers and students. It concludes outdoors with small group discussions about the roles of various police units and the many aspects of a career in law enforcement . Officers from SCMPD’s K-9 unit, Bomb Squad and SWAT will be on hand to answer questions and share their stories. The entire 10th grade will be participating (108) students. This event is sponsored by Learning for Life, a subsidiary of the Coastal Empire Council Boy Scouts.
