SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Jan. 29 shooting in the 1000 block of E. 38th St. that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries for one adult male and one adult female.
SPD received a ShotSpotter report at around 8:20 p.m. and later received reports of an injured female. Once on the scene, officers found the victim who claimed to have been struck by a bullet fired from outside the residence. She was provided with initial medical assistance and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center. A male victim believed to be connected with the incident later arrived at the hospital seeking care for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
