SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department responded to a May 14 shooting in the 1000 block of E. 38th St. that resulted in the death of an adult male.
Officers from Central Precinct responded to the scene at around 1:15 a.m. based initially on a ShotSpotter report. While en route they received reports of a person lying wounded in the street; they discovered him upon arrival. EMS arrived on the scene and life-saving measures were initiated, but the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
