SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has responded to an April 24 ShotSpotter alert in the 800 block of W. 38th St. that led to locating an adult female with serious injury.
SPD arrived at the scene at around 1 a.m. based on ShotSpotter reports and found the victim wounded outside of a residence. Initial aid was provided and the victim was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for further treatment.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
