SPD make arrest in a shooting on the 1000 block of W. Bay Street

SAVANNAH (Nov. 6) – Savannah Police have arrested Johnathan Walker, 28, in connection with a Nov. 4 shooting in the 1000 block of W. Bay Street that left an adult male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

SPD responded to a ShotSpotter report at around 10:45 p.m. and discovered a victim suffering from what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.  The victim was treated and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center. 

The suspect has been charged with aggravated assault.
