SAVANNAH, GA (January 18, 2021) – SPD is investigating the fatal shooting of a 26-year-old man on Jan. 17.
Around 5 p.m. officers responded to Lloyd and Walton streets after they heard gunshots in the area. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was fleeing from the area at a high rate of speed and discovered Ky Harmon in the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
