SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a June 20 shooting that occurred in the 700 block of E. 65th St. and left an adult male with non-life-threatening injury.
At approximately 1:25 a.m., SPD responded to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers conducted a canvas of the area. The victim was found on the ground of a parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
