SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a July 11 shooting near the intersection of W. 55th and Bull Street that left one adult female with a non-life-threatening injury.
At around 5:50 a.m. officers responded to the scene based on reports of gunfire. The victim was discovered with a gunshot to her foot. She told officers she was shot following an altercation with a known associate who fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was treated and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
