SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating an Aug. 30 shooting in the 100 block of W. Congress Lane that left an adult male deceased. The incident also left an adult female with gun wounds, and another adult male with an unknown injury to his hand.
At around 2:15 a.m. officers responded to the scene based on reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, police discovered an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Shortly afterwards, officers found two additional victims. The two gunshot wound victims were transported to Memorial Medical Center for treatment where one of the victims succumbed to his injuries. The adult male with a hand injury refused medical treatment on the scene.
