SAVANNAH (June 16) – Savannah Police detectives are investigating a June 16 shooting at the intersection of Whitaker and Congress streets that resulted in serious injuries to an adult male.
Just after 3 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Whitaker and Congress streets and discovered an adult male victim suffering from serious gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
