SAVANNAH, GA (November 11, 2011): Police are trying to identify a gunman who robbed a convenience store late Thursday night and is believed to have held up at least one other.
The man entered the Savannah Convenience Store in the 6800 block of Waters Avenue just before 11 p.m. with a handgun and ordered two customers to the floor. He removed cash from both registers and casually walked through the front door.
He was described as a black male, about 5-6, 170 pounds with a light brown skully-style hat, brown leather jacket and brown and yellow work boots.
On Nov. 4, a man matching the description entered the EnMark at 7406 Waters Avenue about 11:30 p.m., pulled a handgun from his jacket and demanded money from both registers before fleeing.
The man was shown on store videos in both robberies.
