SAVANNAH, GA (May 10, 2015) A 61-year-old man who has been the subject of a two-day search by Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police was located in good health in a downtown square early this morning.
Downtown Precinct patrol officers located Alvin Howard in Wright Square at Bull and York streets while they were checking squares in search of him after midnight this morning.
He was examined by Southside Emergency Medical Services and was to be returned to his family.
Police officers from all precincts and units had been searching for him since he was reported missing Friday night. He had last been seen by family members Friday morning .
