SAVANNAH, GA (April 11, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Downtown Precinct investigators ask the public’s help in identifying the suspect who broke in to a college dormitory on the 700 block of West Jones Street, just before 5:30 a.m. on April 11.
Metro responded to Boundary Village after reports of a burglary suspect entering an occupied dorm room through a slightly opened window. One resident became aware of the suspect’s presence, startling him. The suspect reportedly fled with several of the residents’ belongings in his possession.
Investigators obtained surveillance footage of a man believed to be the burglary suspect. The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early 20s, standing about 5-7 and weighing roughly 165 pounds.
