UPDATE: Mishawn Green was taken into custody by the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department this afternoon. Green’s arrest resulted from collaborative efforts by Southside and Central Precinct Crime Suppression Units, Southside Precinct’s Criminal Investigation Division, and the Hinesville Police Department. Investigators extend special thanks to the citizens of Chatham County for their role in Green’s arrest.

SAVANNAH, GA (August 15, 2013): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Southside Precinct detectives are requesting the public’s help in locating 24-year-old residential burglary suspect, Mishawn Ehaw Green.
Green, a resident of the 400 block of Windsor Road, has been charged by precinct investigators with three residential burglaries in the Windsor Forest neighborhood, occurring between July 25 and Aug. 8. Electronics were reported stolen following each incident. Detectives also are investigating similar burglaries in the area.
Green is described as a black male, weighing 163 pounds and 5-9 inches tall. He is known to frequent the Tatumville area.
Charges so far include three counts of burglary in the first degree, probation violation and theft by deception.
