UPDATE: Romaine Rontrez Gray, 21, turned himself in at Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Headquarters on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at approximately 11 a.m. Gray was arrested without incident and charged with murder and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime. He was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center.


SAVANNAH, GA (February 18, 2016):  Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Violent Crimes detectives are asking the public’s help in finding Romaine Rontrez Gray, who is wanted for the Feb. 17 murder of James Lamara Johnson.

Johnson, 37, was found dead at approximately 10:40 p.m., Feb. 17, in the 1300 block of Church Street.

This is an on-going investigation.
