SAVANNAH, GA (June 5, 2013): Islands Precinct detectives from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are seeking help from the public in locating a Savannah man wanted for burglary.
Warrants have been drawn charging Terah Kamel Jones, 25, with two burglaries and parole violation. He is a black male, 6-1, weighing about 155. He is reported to drive cars rented in the area and a white 2003 Buick Century with the Georgia license plate PQK 3077.
He has been charged with the May 1 burglaries of residences in the 100 block of Neva Street and 7200 block of Albert Street. Connections also are being investigated to at least nine other burglaries in the SCMPD jurisdiction as well as burglaries and thefts in Richmond Hill and Pooler.
Jones was paroled in September 2012 after serving 15 months of a 60-month sentence for theft by receiving, theft by taking, receiving stolen goods and theft by receiving stolen property. He has been known to frequent the East Savannah area.
