SAVANNAH, GA (October 8, 2014): Homicide detectives from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the car and occupants involved in a fatal downtown shooting August 30.
Police are seeking a white, late model Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows that was northbound on MLK Jr. Boulevard about 12:30 a.m. that Saturday morning.
The driver of the Impala is wanted for the shooting death of Antonio Demmarrio “Mario” Duncan, 37. Duncan was driving north on MLK in a lime green 1981 Chevrolet Malibu Classic station wagon when he was shot.
The shooting took place on MLK between Liberty Street and Oglethorpe Avenue, an area usually bustling with pedestrians and automobile traffic at that time. Detectives are asking that anyone who saw the shooting, the Impala or the occupants to please contact them.
