SAVANNAH, GA (March 27, 2012): The public is being asked to help Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police identify the men who robbed a Savannah drug store early Monday.
One of the men walked into the Walgreens in the 11000 block of Abercorn Street about midnight Sunday with his hand under his clothing as if he were pointing a gun and forced a clerk to open the cash register. The other man held the door open and watched.
The first man was black, about 5-1 or 5-2 weighing around 120 pounds with a red hooded jacket, black pants and a black cloth over his face. The other man was black, a bit taller wearing all black.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637). In the body type, include “CStop2020” plus the tip. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
