SAVANNAH, GA: (March 22, 2012) — All four occupants were transported to a hospital but each escaped life threatening injuries Thursday after a head-on collission at Tibet Avenue and Largo Drive.
James M. Kendrick, 56, of a Northwood Drive address received multiple broken ribs and the most serious injuries after the pickup truck he was driving crossed the center line and collided with a Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Ashley Hodges, 28, of a Bernard Street address.
She and her two daughters, Ylyeon Middleton, 11, and Yulysha Middleton, 8, also were transported to Memorial University Medical Center. Ms. Hodges and Ylyeon received less serious injuries. Yulysha was checked for complaints of pain.
The Major Accident Investigation Team of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate the 3:30 p.m. collision.
