SAVANNAH, GA (April 19, 2015) A suspicious death investigation has begun after two bodies were found in a house on Savannah’s south side Saturday.
Violent Crimes Detectives from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are still trying to confirm the identities of the two victims, believed to be a female and a male.
The bodies were found in a house of the 12000 block of Sunnybrook Road about 11 a.m. Saturday when a lawn care worker called police to report a suspicious odor at the house.
The house was barricaded from the inside, forcing police to break through a window to gain entry.
The identities of the victims must be confirmed due to the time that has elapsed since their deaths. The cause of death also must be determined.
