SAVANNAH, GA (February 20, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Southside Precinct investigators arrested the second suspect in several entering auto cases on Savannah’s south side Feb. 19.
Tre Kindal Dowd, 17, is one of two entering auto suspects identified in home surveillance footage posted on social media. His accomplice, a 16-year-old male, was arrested Feb. 17 and charged with three counts of entering auto and one count of theft by receiving stolen property. Dowd is also charged with entering auto, and additional charges may be pending for both teens.
Approximately 18 entering auto cases in the Whitefield Avenue corridor were reported between Feb. 9 and Feb. 15, which led one victim setup a home video surveillance system.
