SAVANNAH, GA (February 23, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Islands Precinct investigators seek to identify the suspect who attempted to use a credit card stolen from a vehicle parked at a church daycare.
The entering auto occurred Jan. 15, at about 9:15 a.m., at Isle of Hope Methodist Church, near Central Avenue and Parkersburg Road. Hours later, surveillance cameras at Family Dollar on the 3100 block of Montgomery Street, recorded a male suspect attempting a purchase with one of the canceled cards.
The suspect is a black male in his late 20s to mid-30s. He is about 170 to 190 pounds. The suspect frequents the area near Cann Park.
