SAVANNAH, GA (December 1, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred near the intersection of Greenwood Street and Nevada Avenue, Dec. 1.
At approximately 7:51 a.m., Metro responded to the scene locating Logan Jackson, 22, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to Memorial University Medical Center in stable condition. Reportedly, before police arrival, occupants in a gold Chevy Impala fired shots at occupants of a silver Pontiac. Landon Saturday, 19, the driver of the Pontiac, attempted to flee but wrecked the vehicle shortly after.
Investigators are searching for a newer model gold Impala and silver Pontiac. Detectives are also working to determine the actual events that led to this incident. This case remains under investigation.
