Update: Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Major Accident Investigations Team is seeking the public’s help in finding the person responsible for a hit-and-run that injured Harold Blocker, 51, July 30 at approximately 11 p.m.
Investigators have learned that the vehicle may possibly be a small to mid-size vehicle with a spoiler. Detectives are asking anyone that may have seen something in the area to call police.

SAVANNAH, GA (July 31, 2016) – Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to a hit-and-run of a bicyclist at approximately 11 p.m., July 30, in the 700 block of East President Street.
Harold Blocker, 51, suffered life-threatening injuries when he was struck by a motor vehicle. He was transported to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle left the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
