UPDATE: Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Robbery detectives are still attempting to identify an Asian male robbery suspect in his 20s, approximately 5-feet, 7-inches tall and armed with a handgun. In addition to robberies on June 21 and June 29, he is now a suspect in a robbery of a business June 18 in the 12300 block of Largo Drive.

SAVANNAH, GA (July 2, 2016) – Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Robbery detectives are asking the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with two armed robberies.
The suspect allegedly robbed a restaurant at approximately 9:30 p.m., June 21, in the 7300 block of Skidaway Road. Detectives believe the same suspect stole a woman’s purse at gunpoint at approximately 1:30 a.m., June 29, at a business in the 1200 block of East DeRenne Avenue.
The suspect is described as an Asian male in his 20s, approximately 5-feet, 7-inches tall and armed with a handgun.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any additional information on this case should contact the SCMPD tip line. The tip line is open directly to investigators by dialing (912) 525-3124.
