SAVANNAH, GA (September 18, 2010): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are investigating an accident that resulted in a Ford SUV on its side, inside a Subway restaurant.
At 12:58 p.m., Savannah Chatham Metro Police responded to corner of Drayton Street and Broughton Street after a Ford SUV and a Chevy sedan collided in the intersection, causing the SUV to crash into the restaurant where four people where dining. When the dust cleared seven people received minor injuries. Four were treated on scene by EMS, two refused treatment and one person who had been inside the restaurant was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
At the time of this release charges were pending.
