SAVANNAH, GA (May 20, 2013): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police arrested three juveniles in connection to a pedicab robbery Sunday night.
At 10:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Oglethorpe House on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Avenue for an armed robbery. At Whitaker Street and West Oglethorpe Lane, the pedicab operator was stopped by three masked black males, including two with guns. The suspects ordered the victim off of his bike. One suspect took a small amount of cash from the victim’s pocket.
A Metro officer noticed three youths fitting the suspects’ description walking south on Bull Street. Two officers took the suspects into custody north of the 600 block of Abercorn Street.
