SAVANNAH, GA (October 12, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police arrested Curtis Ray White, 40, and Shaqille Oneal Jones, 22, on Saturday for a robbery attempt and shooting in Cuyler-Brownsville in September.
Metro’s Violent Crimes Task Force arrested White. Jones’ warrants were served at the Chatham County Detention Center where he is being held on unrelated charges.
On Sept. 12 at about 7:08 a.m., Metro officers found Andrew Deloach, 55, suffering from a gunshot wound outside of his residence on the 2100 block of Burroughs Street. Deloach was transported by ambulance to Memorial University Medical Center with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
White is charged with party to a crime – aggravate assault, armed robbery and parole violation. Jones is charged with aggravated assault and party to a crime – armed robbery.
Metro’s Violent Crimes and Robbery Unit investigators, Central Precinct Crime Suppression Units and the Violent Crimes Taskforce collaborated in these arrests.
