SAVANNAH (Nov 20, 2023) – Savannah Police Department conducted a Total Focus Operation over the weekend which led to 13 arrests. SPD also recovered illegal drugs, as well as stolen weapons and vehicles.
“Total Focus improves public safety and quality of life by removing dangerous people, drugs, and stolen weapons from our communities.” said Lenny B. Gunther, Savannah Police Chief.
The operation was held Nov 17 – Nov 18, using intelligence-based policing to address criminal activity and quality of life issues.
The operation resulted in 13 arrests, which included seven arrests for driving under the influence, five felony arrests, and one misdemeanor arrest warrant served. SPD also seized 142.2 grams of marijuana, 7.1 grams of methenamine, and 5.6 grams of cocaine. Six guns and two stolen vehicles were recovered. SPD also issued 63 citations.
