SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is seeking to locate 26-year-old Maalik Frazier, who is wanted for arrest in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on March 1 in the 10 block of Echols Ave. and resulted in the death of an adult male.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area at approximately 12:45 a.m. Upon arrival, officers encountered the 38-year-old victim, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by EMS to Memorial Health University Medical Center, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Initial investigation and witness interviews identified the suspect vehicle.
After working through the night, detectives identified Maalik Frazier as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. He is wanted for felony murder, three counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. If anyone knows his whereabouts, please call the police. Do not approach him; he is considered armed and dangerous.
