Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating an Oct. 31 fatal shooting near the intersection of Ogeechee Rd. and W. 34th St. that left an adult male deceased.
Officers responded to the scene shortly before 1:30 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports. Upon arrival officers discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest. He was provided first aid and transported to Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
