SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department arrested Mark Stewart, 45, in connection with a March 2 shooting at the 8000 block of Waters Ave.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 6:17 p.m. and arrived following an altercation that left two adult males injured. Both were provided with initial medical assistance and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for further treatment.
After an initial investigation, detectives charged Stewart with aggravated assault, cruelty to children, simple battery, and possession of firearm during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.
