SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives have arrested Jau-Keece Capers, 22, in connection with an Oct. 1 domestic shooting in the 200 block of Holland Drive.
At around 11:30 p.m. officers responded to the scene based on reports of an injury. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. She was provided with immediate medical aid and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
After an initial investigation, officers arrested Capers and charged him with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and violation of a family violence protection order. He was then transported to the Chatham County Detention Center without incident.
