SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Department detectives have arrested two suspects in connection with a March 6 shooting in the 100 block of Congress Street that left one adult male injured.
On July 20, 28-year-old Jamario Clark was served with warrants at the Chatham County Detention Center. On July 23, members of the U.S. Marshals Violent Crimes Task Force, Savannah Police Department K9 Unit, and SPD Special Investigations Unit arrested 23-year-old Taniji Hall during a felony traffic stop.
Officers initially responded to the 100 block of Congress Street at approximately 2:30 a.m. on March 6 following reports of a fight in progress. As officers approached the scene, they heard multiple gunshots and discovered ballistic damage to several buildings and an unoccupied vehicle. A short time later, an adult male victim arrived at Memorial Health University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his arm.
Clark has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
Hall has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Reckless Conduct
