SAVANNAH (Jan. 29) – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a Jan. 28 shooting at the intersection of Whitaker and Congress St. that left an adult female with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
SPD responded to a shots fired report at around 2:30 a.m. and discovered a victim suffering from an injury. The victim was immediately treated on the scene and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
SPD is currently following up on leads and the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made. Anyone with info should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
