SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a July 9 fatal shooting in the 1000 block of W. Broad Ct. that left one deceased, and three injured.
Officers from the Northwest Precinct responded to the scene following a ShotSpotter alert at approximately 11:50 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered four adult victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The three remaining victims were transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment. One victim remains in critical condition, while two sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Based on the preliminary investigation, officers believe the shooting was a targeted attack on the victims. Investigators worked throughout the night and continue to follow up on leads.
