SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Dec. 24 shooting in the 10,000 block of Abercorn St. that left one adult male injured.
Officers responded to the scene at around 6:45 p.m. based on a ShotSpotter report. Upon their arrival, bystanders advised police that an adult male had been shot and was being transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in a privately owned vehicle. It was also determined the victim’s car had been stolen from the scene.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
