MAN SHOT, 2 DETAINED
SAVANNAH, GA (September 15, 2011): Two males have been detained and Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are attempting to determine if they were involved in the shooting of another man Thursday night.
Police were alerted about 9:43 p.m. that a man in his 20s had been shot in the face in the Plantation Oaks Apartments in the 10,000 block of Abercorn Street.
He was transported to Memorial University Medical Center with wounds that did not appear life-threatening.
Two males were detained at the U.S. Post office in the 11,000 block of Abercorn, each with blood on their clothing. Police were attempting to determine if they had been involved in the shooting.
