SAVANNAH – Savannah Police is investigating a Jan. 12 shooting in the 100 block of Forrest Ave. that left an adult male with non-life-threatening injury.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter in the area at approximately 10:40 a.m. Upon arrival, officers were advised of a victim with gunshot wounds in a nearby residence. He was transported by EMS to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
After initial investigation, it has been determined that this was not a random act; the suspect and victim were known to one another.
